Starline®200 Cured-In-Place Lining

The Starline®200 technology has been developed exclusively for the rehabilitation of services in gas distribution systems. Services with diameters of 3/4" to 2" and lengths of up to 200 ft can be rehabilitated using the process. The crucial benefit of the technology is that up to five offsets or five 90° bends can be uniformly lined wrinkle-free and returned within 4 hours. This process is particularly beneficial in areas where restoration costs are extremely high of the actual service line to the meter contains multiple offsets.

Similar to the gas main system, the Starline®200 process involves the inversion of a woven fabric hose impregnated with an epoxy resin into the service line. The line can be cured in one hour using a hot-water circulation curing process. All work is completed through a compact truck mounted unit containing all necessary equipment to complete the entire process of cleaning, lining and curing. Typically 2 to 3 services can be completed in a single day.

The technology was designed by the Gas Industry and provides a safe, environmentally friendly, and cost effective solution for damaged or aging service lines.
